A catch-all email mailbox receives messages sent to nonexistent addresses under the very same domain name. For instance, a message sent to the misspelled suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com if the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. In this way, you can receive messages from friends or customers who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling error or to an obsolete one, which they may still have, but you have already deactivated. Only one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for such a mailbox. The latter is due to the fact that at some moment you may start receiving spam emails in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction implies that the spam will not be delivered to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Website Hosting

You will be able to create a catch-all e-mailbox without effort if you’ve got a shared website hosting plan with our company. The Email Manager tool in our custom-created Hepsia Control Panel is fully featured, yet stunningly user-friendly, and it will enable you to enable different features, including the catch-all one, with just a few mouse clicks. All the mailboxes that you have set up will be displayed in alphabetical order in this section and on the right-hand side of each one of them you will see a small "Catch-all" sign. Clicking on it once will enable the feature, clicking on it twice will deactivate it. As you can have only one such mailbox per domain, our system will warn you if you already have another mailbox with this option enabled or if you’ve got active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

A catch-all address can be configured with a couple of clicks of the mouse if you’ve got a Linux semi-dedicated hosting package with our company. The hosting account will be managed via our custom-created Hepsia Control Panel and you will be able to set up email addresses under any domain hosted there. To activate the catch-all feature for a specific mailbox, you will have to click the button with the same name, which will be next to each email address. Disabling this functionality can be done in the very same way and will not take more than a click either. If a catch-all mailbox has already been enabled for a specific domain name, you will receive a warning message. The same goes if the mailbox that you would like to be a catch-all one has email forwarding activated, as our system will never replace or deactivate any feature automatically.
